The hotel had a charming atmosphere, with
Helpful staff and a lovely terrace for breakfast. The climb to our room was a workout, but we enjoyed the views. The only downside was the unusual bathroom setup, a bit quirky. A good experience.

A few things you should know
I adored the charming Venetian-style room and the proximity to major attractions. Ilaria, the receptionist, was friendly and knowledgeable! Her assistance made navigating the area effortless.
Finding the hotel was quite a challenge due to vague directions, and the absence of a 24-hour reception created some inconvenience for late arrivals.

Nicely decorated
There were many humidity bugs at the hotel. When I called the manager, he simply told me to kill them. He wasn't present when we arrived, never there to answer questions. The breakfast was the worse we had in Italy, and this hotel turned Venice into the worse part of our vacation. I intend to inform the health institutions about the humidity bugs in this hotel, since I took some photos. I shall never go there again.

The fabulous food was a good touch. The staff were fairly friendly and offered guidance. The location was marvellous and tranquil, for example, a byzantine shipyard was relatively near the hotel. Distance to the airport was just 15 km...
Some people working there were not very friendly.

We loved our stay, especially the cozy feel of our room with its charming Venetian decor and the delightful little extras that made it special. The garden area was perfect for unwinding with a book, and I really appreciated the nice patio, even though we couldn't enjoy it due to the rainy weather. The only downside was occasionally catching a faint sewage smell when the window was open, but it didn’t take away from our overall great experience. 😊

Super cozy spot near everything!
Ilaria, the receptionist, was super friendly and helped us find some great local eats. The place was really clean, but we couldn't use the small patio 'cause it was raining the whole time. Still, being just a short walk to the vaporetto stop made it easy to explore!

Our stay in ca Valeri was great. The staff is very polite! The hotel and the rooms are very clean. Our room was just fantastic. Breakfast was tasty. I read some bad comments about the breakfast but I really like it. The bread was always fresh baked, there were croissants, rusks, butter, honey, jam. We were able to sense the smell of the coffee in our room on breakfast time and it was a great way to wake up...the smell was amazing. The location of the hotel is really great! It's 5-10 minutes from San Marco and 1 minute to the seaside alley. It's easy to find and really quiet. There is a hotel sign which is easy to see but without this sign it will be a little bit hard to find. Anyway the sign is there so there is no problem. I think that the owner of the hotel is reading the feedback and he is making improvments because all the bad things that I read about are now corrected. For all new visitors I just want to say that you need to ring the intercom. Thank you David for our pleasant stay and unforgettable at your hotel!
The jacuzzi in our room wasn't working, but it wasn't a problem for us.

The location is perfect-close to Arsenale and Giardini. There are tons of nice restaurants around. The rooms are comfortable and clean, decorated with beautiful Murano chandeliers. Our host was super kind and accommodating, always ready to help us out!
The only downside was that the small alley made the rooms a bit darker than expected, but it wasn't a big deal since we spent most of our time outside.

Staying at Ca Valeri was a good experience. The charming traditional decor and warm hospitality from Ilaria and her team. The location is perfect for art enthusiasts, just a short walk from major attractions. The shower's weak water pressure was a minor inconvenience.
